The School of Home Science came into existence in 2007. The School with its interdisciplinary faculty aims to inculcate and strengthen innovation and analytical skills holistically to achieve sustainable development. Home Science is a unique filed of knowledge, with multidisciplinary approach synthesized from various domains of Sciences, Social Sciences Engineering and Humanities. The enriched curriculum of Home Science do not center only on an individual or a family but caters to the contemporary trends of education in order to meet the rapidly changing demands of society. The School is working as important centre of learning and disseminating knowledge in varied domains, preparing the students to take up professions such as researchers, counselors, nutritionists, interior designers, fashion designers, social workers, administrators, CAD professionals, teachers, extension personnel etc.
