The School of Vocational and Futuristic Studies comprising a budding department of Skill & Vocational Studies
came into existence in the year 2021. Preparing human resource skilled in selected trades is the main mandate of
the department. This will ensure availability of trained manpower which is industry ready. Vocationalisation shall
help initiate students to explore entrepreneurship and become job providers rather than seekers. The department also
mandates handholding with other government agencies to promote development of skilled manpower to fortify India as
we move into the new millennia. The department proposes multiple entry/exit certificate, diploma & advance diploma/degree
course in line with the new NEP of government
The Department with the following goals: |
To develop skill courses in the University in different trades.
To provide hands on training for skilling youth enrolled in University.
To develop entrepreneurial skills in the youth.
